Meanwhile, we have continued to improve our products in the several decades Greencorner has been manufacturing based on customer feedback. In the past, our umbrella frames use to not have replaceable parts, which was improved upon over a decade ago. Also, some customers were accidentally cementing in the galvanized tube for the B8 upside down. In particular, this was unfortunately despite the instructions clearly showing which way is up. Therefore, we centered the system for the tube making either direction right side up removing the change for the mistake.
Our tubes for all of the umbrella bases / mounts (T12, T13, B5, B6, B7, B8, B33, etc.) were originally made with 2 tightening knobs on one side. Beyond, standard for all umbrella bases by any manufacturer is to have 1-2 knobs on one side. It was desired for the smaller umbrella poles to have better hold or be more centered within the bases. Therefore we added a third knob to the opposite side which is not done anywhere else. In the past, our African Mahogany Market Patio Umbrellas use to not have leather rope straps. Therefore those were quickly added when there was an esthetic question of the rope looking messy before. In conclusion, there are so many examples of little changes here and there upon our products. Therefore, we continue to update and adapt according to the needs, wants and feedback from our customers.

It was easy to configure the umbrella to my needs with respect to additional design details and material. The umbrella was delivered on time, packed well, and construction was flawless. This is our second umbrella from Greencorner. The first one lasted 12 years under harsh daily conditions in an environment with very hot summer weather, moderate and sometimes high wind conditions, and cold rainy winters. As an added bonus, their products offer great a price point/value. In summary, outstanding company to work with that offers very well designed products of excellent quality and value.
These purchases have proven to be a good investment for the Recreation Department, as opposed to inferior quality umbrellas that broke within the first week. The extra large size of your product is ideal for our needs. We use your umbrellas as shading for spectators in our skateboard park. They are put up and taken down daily. In addition, the umbrellas are very nice looking and are durable. Ojai has very strict codes and places a high value on aesthetics. Your umbrellas pass the test! I have had a Greencorner market umbrella for about 12 years now. It has been very durable for the price. I have replaced the canopy once but other that that it looks like new.

The woodwork, metal components and fasteners are top notch. Although this (10′ x 13′ rectangle) umbrella is huge the construction is sturdy and pulley opening system works great while minimizing unnecessary cranks/levers. I love it and would purchase another.
In-ground base work perfectly.
I have a Berry 5 Piece Dining set from Wayfair. It has a hole for a patio umbrella, but the base of the table is narrow. Therefore, I needed something flat, heavy, and stable for a 9 foot umbrella. Customer service recommend this item for me. It is flat and the base weighs over 120 pounds. I used a dolly to move it into my patio/deck. It fits perfectly. It is extremely stable, and I see this lasting for a very long time. If you’re using an umbrella, the weight to umbrella diameter should be 10 pounds for each foot of umbrella diameter for stability. This does more than enough for my 9 foot umbrella. Definitely a worthwhile purchase, and I’d recommend it to my friends.

We bought a “universal” umbrella cover from another retailer and, despite it stating that it would enclose a 10×10 umbrella, it was not even close. This Greencorner easily covers our 10×10 umbrella and would probably cover a 12×12 or slightly larger. I wish we had found this first. Pros: Easy Assembly/Disassembly; Cons: None

We love the size and the quick set up and breakdown! The umbrella covers the same area as a 10X10 and storing it away all you have to do is fold it and use a dolly to store it away.
I spent a lot of time trying to find an umbrella for our back deck. I wanted a large, quality umbrella that created enough shade for people to sit under as opposed to the cheap, round ones at the major retail store. Bought low profile bases for my umbrellas. Sturdy. Easy to attach. Having the center pole so that you can remove it in the winter and prevent a tripping hazard is a big plus.

Whenever we open a new location, our big yellow umbrellas help us with branding. They provide a warm, upscale Miami Beach vibe that invites the customer in. Our yellow umbrellas have become part of our trademarked brand. The original canopies we bought have maintained their color for several years without fading. I haven’t replaced an umbrella frame in seven years. They don’t break.
Our back yard is like a wind tunnel and this is perfect for our umbrella on our deck and super easy to install. You will need to buy the bolts.

I have a 9 foot octagon and a 10 foot square umbrella purchased in the late 2000’s (08-09). I have loved them both. The older style rib replacement (with separate bolts for each rib) is my favorite way to fix them; one had some broken ribs from falling over in a storm; other than that, they are super durable umbrellas. I just wanted to share this. Keep making fine umbrellas! Your customer service has been great!

Mahogany frame is exceptionally sturdy and operates the umbrella on a pulley system. We live in the Pacific Northwest where the winds can be strong, and the umbrella, when secured in the heavy base, is strong and solid. Classic design and although expensive is well worth the extra money if you want a product that will last.
